My dream has always been to try and bring stories from a another world into peoples lives and their homes through my underwater photography. Every journey i take into the depths inspires me to learn, to respect my environment and the creatures that live within it. My adventures always remind me that we are connected to all things on earth and that environmental conservation is important to us all. I hope you see the beauty and enjoy my work as much as I do.
Photography as Communication
We are surrounded by truly amazing natural beauty, interesting creatures and alien like scenery in our underwater world. My recent work is an aspiration to capture the ocean life through the camera lens and enable you to share it with printed images that focuses on the magic that we find in its depths. These underwater photographic pictures tells my stories, the love I have for the ocean and the passion that is inside me to share it with the world.
My Background
I’m based in Sydney Australia and have always loved the ocean since I was a boy. I always felt comfortable under the waves and driven with a strong senses of curiosity with what lies within. Over the past few years I started to share my experiences with my family and friends through my photography with great excitement. This gave birth to Scuba Berto underwater photography and now I want to share it with you.
